    EU3LEADER fellowship

Selected leaders who will attend four 24-hour capacity-building workshops from September 2017 through to September 2018.

The workshops will follow the pattern of the EU's Entrepreneurial competences framework with a concluding workshop on competences for European cooperation:

    1. Ideas & Opportunities: set of attitudes necessary to spot opportunities, broaden your creativity and follow your goals. (Barcelona, Sept 2017)
    2. Resources: set of skills aimed at nurturing personal development (Brussels, Dec 2017)
    3. Into action: set of knowledge to turn ideas into action for benefit of others. (Vienna, dates to follow)
    4. European cooperation: how to pursue your organisation's mission through EU cooperation and funding (Croatia, dates to follow)

    Who can apply?

You should only apply if you have been invited to so by an EU3LEADER partner or associate partners.

Becoming an EU3LEADER associate partner also gives your organisation the opportunity to provide access to the fellowship for your members or alumni. Read more on the EU3LEADER webpage here.

    What does it cost?

For fellows nominated by EU3LEADER partners, reasonable travel costs are covered by the project, funded by Erasmus Plus.

For fellows nominated by associate partners, hotel costs and meals are covered by Euclid Network.

Would you like to build new EU projects with other Euclid Network members?

Right now, 9 out of our 20 Member Organisations are working with us in an EU project, mainly in EU3LEADER and SEEDplus. But there are more opportunities ahead, such as in the Digital Competence Framework and in Horizon 2020. Perhaps you spotted other opportunities that your organisation plans to apply for.

On Wednesday 25 October we will organise an EU-project building workshop in Rotterdam. The aim is to build consortiums and lay the groundwork for preparing high-quality project proposals.

On the night before, on Tuesday 24 October, there will be a members' dinner.

More information on when and where exactly all this will happen will follow soon!

    Rotterdam, 7-9 March

The Euclid Summit is Euclid Network’s flagship pan-European event. Organised in association with the City of Rotterdam, the Euclid Summit 2018 is a 2-day gathering bringing together people and organisations from across Europe to learn from, encourage and inspire each other to drive positive change.

Growing ecosystems is a job for all stakeholders: cities/regions, national governments, networks and support organisations, universities, businesses, social investors – and not least social entrepreneurs and civil society organisations.

Crucial elements in developing favourable ecosystems for social enterprises to start up, scale up and sustainably create positive social impact include availability of affordable coaching, capacity-building and management training. Social impact needs to be measured effectively and the results should be disseminated. Public procurement needs to favour social enterprises as suppliers, which may require culture changes in public authorities. Social entrepreneurs and support organisations would benefit from strong national and international connections and partnerships.

European countries increasingly recognise the potential of social enterprises to create sustainable employment opportunities while tackling neglected societal problems. All over Europe, cities, regions and countries are working to create an enabling environment for social enterprises to thrive.

Social entrepreneurs, civil society organisations, cities/regions, national governments, networks and support organisations, universities, businesses, social investors – everyone’s responsible!
